Yerevan Parking Guide 2026: How to Pay "Red Lines"
Almost the entire center of Yerevan is marked with red dashed lines along the curbs. This indicates a paid municipal parking zone. The first 15 minutes are free, after which you must pay to avoid a 5,000 AMD fine.
💡 Good to know: Many local rental cars already include an annual pass for the red line parking zones.

Paid parking in Yerevan is divided into two zones:
- Zone A (Downtown): The most expensive zone covering the Republic Square, Opera, and surrounding central streets.
- Zone B: The rest of the Kentron and Arabkir districts. It is cheaper.
How to Pay
- Via SMS (local numbers only): Send your car's license plate number (e.g.,
34XX123) to 1045 (Zone A) or 5045 (Zone B). - Via Telcell/EasyPay Terminals: Find a self-service terminal on the street, go to "Services" -> "Yerevan Parking", enter the license plate, and insert cash.
- Banking Apps: If you have an Armenian bank account, you can pay directly through the app.
